OUR USA HOLIDAYS
The greatest attraction during any American holiday is the incredible diversity this country has to offer. The nation is home to dynamic cities and small towns that vary dramatically from region to region and the awe-inspiring National Parks are unparalleled for their majesty. The Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Arches and Glacier National Parks compete for your attention with the iconic sights and culture of San Francisco, Boston and New Orleans.
Eastern energy, slow-paced deep southern charm and the laid back lifestyle of the west coast combine to create an incredible melting pot of virtually anything. Swathes of mountain forests, rivers, canyons and cacti studded deserts come together with the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, rich Native American culture and that cowboy spirit, for an amazingly varied America holiday experience.

Southwest USA The most visited area of the United States, and for good reason. Comprising five states; California, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Nevada, and punctuated by red-rock National Parks such as Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon, the Southwest is most famous for its deserts, canyons and geological formations. Also home to a fascinating blend of cultures from American to Hispanic and several indigenous Native American cultures, as well as Old West ghost towns and soaring new cities, every day in the Southwest USA feels like a completely new adventure.

The Pacific Northwest Rocky, wild, untouched. These are just three words which spring do mind when thinking about America's Pacific Northwest. Varied climates harbour a multitude of different ecosystems, from the rugged old growth forests of Washington's coastlines to the pristine mineral-fed lakes of Glacier National Park, plus the second highest mountain in the lower 48, Mount Rainier. But it's not just all about nature, as there are some of the most exciting cities and small towns to be found here, including Portland, Oregon, which is regularly voted the most up and coming place to spend your USA holiday.

East USA & New England With many similarities to its namesake across the pond, New England simply oozes charm and brings back memories of days gone by. Rocky shorelines create the need for delightful lighthouses dotted along the coast, and further in-land, you'll still find old clapboard farms nestled amongst fields of corn. For the hikers out there, there are a multitude of trails along the rolling green hills, and the 2,000 mile Appalachian Trail begins here. If you're a photography fan be sure to visit in Fall (Autumn), when the leaves change from green to crimson and gold and the landscape takes on an even quainter quality, if that's even possible.

The Deep South Last but by no means least, a holiday in America doesn't get too much more iconic than a trip to the Deep South. Made up from the south eastern states of Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and South Carolina, the area is full of historic cultural references which reveal its peppered past. Also the home of jazz, blues, and rock 'n' roll music, you can't go too far without coming across an incredible live band to enjoy a glass of bourbon next to. The food isn't bad either, with some of the most mouth-watering dishes on the planet including, gumbo, jambalaya, fried chicken, barbecue ribs, iced tea, peach cobbler, grits, catfish and soft shell crabs all on the menu.
