Hurricane Arthur

Tropical Storm Arthur has now been upgraded to a category 1 Hurricane status is currently located on the east coast of the United States, approximately 190 miles south south-east of Cape Fear, North Carolina and 340 miles south-west of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. The approximate co-ordinates are 31.3N 79.1W. Arthur has wind speeds of 75mph with higher gusts.

Arthur is moving north at a speed of 15mph. On his forecasted track Arthur is expected to move on a north-easterly track towards New England, and along the coasts of the hurricane warning areas by this evening. It is anticipated that Arthur will pick up speed whilst travelling along the east coast of the United States within the next 12-24 hours.

As ever with weather systems such as this our operations team monitor their movements closely and adjust any tours as required to ensure our clients are out of any danger.

If areas that tours are due to visit were in the path of Tropical Storm Arthur they would be re-routed to ensure the safety of our clients.

Tropical Storm Arthur is currently sitting on the south east coast of the US and looks like it will develop into a hurricane over the coming days.
