1) Delicate Arch Trail in Arches National Park

  • Delicate Arch

    Perhaps the most famous sight in Arches National Park, this is definitely worth the visit. The size and structure of this amazing 65ft freestanding natural arch just cannot be appreciated from a photo! The short walk to the base of Delicate Arch offers spectacular views of the surrounding desert and mountains, and offers a truly magical moment - upon turning a corner the arch suddenly comes into view and frames the stunning view of the La Sal Mountains!

2) Angels Landing in Zion National Park

    Famous for its spectacular views, Zion National Park was forged by the Virgin River as it carved through sandstone to create incredible scenery; deep multi-coloured canyons, soaring cliffs, cascading waterfalls, riverine forests and flowing rivers. And there's no better place to admire the beauty of Zion than Angels Landing! This half day hike will take you to 1750ft above the canyon floor to the narrow spine of a geological fin, where you will get unbeatable valley views and canyon vistas spread out as far as the eye can see.

3) Panorama trail in Yosemite National Park
  • Vernal Falls, Yosemite

    This scenic hike comprises two of Yosemite's most remarkable trails, the Mist Trail and Glacier Point. Feel the spray on your face as you tackle the granite steps alongside Vernal Falls. Admire dramatic cliffs and evergreen forests from the top of Nevada Falls and drink in breathtaking views of the iconic Half Dome from Glacier Point. The prolific birdlife and rugged charm of the Sierra Nevadas is a California experience a world away from the infamous coastline.

4) Katahdin Stream Falls in Baxter State Park

    Known as one of the best waterfalls in Maine, Katahdin Stream Falls can be found in the beautiful wilderness of Baxter State Park. Heading along the trail that takes you all the way to the summit of Mount Katahdin, you'll be greeted with gorgeous views of the stream and an abundance of pines and moss-covered rock. Climbing higher you'll get spectacular views of the park before reaching the Katahdin Stream Falls, where your reward is to soak in the beautiful vista whilst listening to the thunderous sounds of the water flowing beneath you.

5) Larch Valley and Sentinel Pass in Banff National Park
  • Canadian Rockies

    This Canadian Rockies hike resembles a backcountry experience, as you move further away from modern norms and deeper into coniferous forests. Begin by the serene turquoise waters of Moraine Lake and head towards Larch Valley, where breathtaking views of the Valley of Ten Peaks awaits. Your end goal is Sentinel Pass at a lofty 2611m. Early autumn is a great time to visit, as the landscape is a blanket of golden leaves set against the snow-capped peaks of neighboring Pinnacle Mountain and Mount Temple.
