Trip Itinerary
Our routes have been carefully chosen to include the best night stops and highlights. However, as local and operational conditions may vary and unforeseen circumstances can arise, the following itinerary should be used as a guideline.
As this tour departs at 0500 in the morning we recommend that you book pre-tour accommodation. Please request hotel details at the time of booking.
Day 1: Jackson & Western Ranch
We'll meet the group and make our way through the heart of Yellowstone to our home for the next seven days; established in 1898 as Wyoming's very first 'dude ranch', our hosts promise a casual, relaxed atmosphere and authentic western experience.

Day 2: Western Ranch
Depending on your interest and experience (none required), choose from either a short introduction to horsemanship or a full 4-hour trail ride. Then try your hand at fly fishing on the Shoshone River with the expert help of your local guide.

Day 3: Cody
We make our way to Cody, with time to explore the many western stores and outfi tters housed in historic buildings throughout town, but don't miss out on the Buffalo Bill Historical Center and world famous Cody Nite Rodeo.

Day 4: Western wilderness
Heading out on an overnight pack trip, we'll be sleeping under the stars, revelling in the camaraderie of an open fire and enjoying the western wilderness in all its glory. Take a deep breath and soak it all in because it doesn't get more authentic than this!

Day 5: Western Ranch
After a delicious breakfast, we'll make tracks back to the ranch for an afternoon to do as you please. Have another go at fishing or just kick back on your porch with a book and take in the magnificent views.

Day 6: Western Ranch
Spend the morning whitewater rafting to take in the amazing wilderness from another point of view. Then back at the ranch there might be time for one more trail ride before a final cowboy campfire, complete with live music and bar-b-que.

Day 7: Yellowstone National Park
After bidding farewell to the ranch we'll re-enter Yellowstone for a full day to explore. Preserved as the World's first national park, this protected wilderness has become one of North America's best kept wildlife sanctuaries.

Day 8: Yellowstone NP & Jackson
We continue our tour of the highlights, always on the lookout for bear, buffalo, moose and deer roaming freely throughout the park. Later in the day we'll make our way back to Jackson for a night on the town and end of the tour.
This tour ends at our gateway hotel at approximately 17:00 hrs. We can book you post-tour accommodation at our gateway hotel if required. If you are planning to fly tonight, please do not book a flight that departs before 21:00 hrs.
