Manuel Antonio Tours

Manuel Antonio ToursAlthough the smallest national park in Costa Rica it is by no means lacking in the natural beauty department and if you're in the mood for snow white beaches fringed by emerald green foliage then you've just stepped into paradise.

Sunsets, surfing and an unequalled level of diversity when it comes to wildlife, mean that there's a reason that Manuel Antonio is such a well-guarded secret and once you've visited you'll begin to learn why.

Freshly grilled fish and tropical cocktails are always the perfect accompaniment to yet another Costa Rica sunset moment and if you can find the perfect place to sit back and enjoy then you won't want to move until closing time.

Insider Tips

Photographers paradise
There is such a wide selection of beautiful locations in Manuel Antonio that you will be left breathless as to the range of choice, and from the blues of the Pacific coastline to the lush green mountain slopes, this should certainly be top of the list for photographers interested in the natural world. An abundance of mammals, birds and plant life make this the perfect place to capture the essence of Costa Rica with camera perched atop of a tripod.
When to go
If you can plan your Manuel Antonio tours around dry mornings and wet afternoons then you won't go far wrong, no matter when you're visiting. Opt for December through to April for the best of the drier months. During July and August there tends to be a short summer period, however it is still recommended to pack a few wet weather items. Manuel Antonio National Park is relatively hot throughout the year and you'll find plenty of sea breeze to help cool off.
