Las Vegas, Nevada

Even before you get your first taste of the 'Strip', you'll already feel that you know everything there is to know about Vegas. But after a few hours, you'll quickly discover that there's much more to Sin City than meets the eye.

Las Vegas Tours

Las Vegas ToursYes - there's all-night entertainment and yes - you can lose or win bucket loads of cash but, with Grand Canyon tours from Las Vegas being an excellent example, you may just find that you have a grand old time for entirely different reasons than you'd first anticipated.

A trip to Vegas is an incredibly worthwhile experience, and probably one that you've simply got to do at least once in a lifetime.

Las Vegas Insider Tips

The Stratosphere
Thrill seekers can get their fix of adrenaline with the fairground rides perched atop tallest building in Nevada. For a more sedate experience, treat yourself to dinner in the Top Of The World revolving restaurant, for 360 degre views of the city. A drink in the 107 Sky Lounge offers the same incredible views – arrive just before sundown to watch the city streets transform. Not done with seeing Vegas from a bird’s eye perspective? A helicopter ride over the strip is guaranteed to make you feel like the ultimate high roller.
When to go
With year-round sunshine it's easy to see why those resort hotel air-conditioners keep on running. June to September are exceedingly hot, regularly pushing the 40C mark. Winters are relatively mild and often regarded as the best season, especially during the period prior to Christmas - fewer crowds, less heat and lots of lovely lights. Things start to warm up around April/May time, and if you're looking for sun but not too much dry heat then this could be ideal for you - just try to avoid Spring Break.
Highlights & Activities

Las Vegas Tour Highlights

Bellagio Fountains
No trip to Vegas is anywhere near complete without paying your respects to one of the world's most iconic water features, the famous Bellagio Fountains. Expect choreographed water, light and music shows occurring at regular intervals until midnight.
Cirque Du Soleil and Shows
No matter whose name you're hoping to see emblazoned in lights there's just something about Vegas that gives the air an extra buzz. One of the premier outfits has to be the incredible performances of the Cirque Du Soleil.
Old Vegas and Fremont Street
Old Vegas is considered to be the downtown area and from classic resort hotels, such as the Golden Nugget and Binion's, to the bright lights of the Fremont Street Experience, this is an excellent alternative to the Strip's new neon.
Gambling
You name it and you can do it in Vegas, with roulette, poker, blackjack and a whole lot of slots available 24/7. This is where the high-rollers come to play and from VIP areas to free drinks, you'll find plenty of 'complimentary' offers to entice you in for a cheeky flutter.
